The Fall Roundup is at Wildwood near St. Marys. The Summer one we are discussing is Norwhich.

Sounds interesting, but July 4th weekend is our annual Maine  off-road Bike-run so its out for me.
Both Canadian round-ups are still a 14 hour drive each way for me.
How about an Eastern Canada round up for us Maritimers and Mainers?
I could get that organised if we have enough interest, i know of a few Apache Owners within a few hours from me (New Brunswick, Canada).

newfoundland!!!

I would love to go to Newfoundland but the logistics of running a round-up for us landlubbers, for me a 700 mile trip to the ferry, 105 mile ferry crossing and on to a National park...would be fun though.
As we would be driving through Nova Scotia, another beautiful province, I would end up pulling in there and staying for a few weeks  Grin

I am working on the Norwich ,Ontario Roundup and will let you know as soon as things firm up.
PS It is the towns 200th birthday and a lot of stuff is being planned as we speak. Getting people to work together is the big task. Red
Sounds like a fun year  Smiley
Norwich is a beautiful area from what i seen of it on the hasty trip to pick up the Eagle.
Would love to visit again sometime, 4th july weekend is out for me though, I would imagine our 'merican cousins will be busy that weekend too, firing cannons and such  Cheesy

Les:

Like most of the other "regulars", camping on the Canada weekend in Norwich and the annual Round-up at the end of September sounds like a great idea.

It is hard to believe that it has been ten years since the event at the community centre in Norwich; I think it is a bonus that, again, the town has a celebration at the same time that we will be there - will we get the inside of the horse track again?

I hope that the original 7 attend as well as the rest of the group that make it out to Omer and Wildwood over the years.

Tim do you think there would be interest in a summer  July 1,2,3,4... 10th Can. Roundup instead of a fall one.

Hey Red are you receiving my pm's?? I am not getting full access here?

No matter how far you plan ahead for a Roundup or how many promises you get about people coming,.... if people lay the money down for a reservation chances are they will show.....

Les:

How did the event at Norwich go?  I sure missed camping this weekend, it would have been one for the books.

Anyways, Bonnie and I (and our kids - university class schedules permitting) are really looking forward to the September 24 - 26 event at Wildwood.

See you then and have a good summer.
